The Right Skip for the Right Waste
Choosing the right skip size is crucial if you want to get good value for money and make disposing of your waste easy. In some cases, a bigger skip might be the best option. However, a couple of smaller skips may be beneficial, especially if you want to segregate and recycle as much waste as possible.
When you are choosing your skip, you should always keep your site in mind. In particular, you need to know that the skip will fit on the site and the truck will be able to gain access.
Skip Dimensions UK
There are lots of different skip dimensions so you can be quite specific in what you order. Skip sizes are measured in yards. A good rule of thumb is that you can get a maximum of 10 bin bags per yard, so an 8 yard skip will take around 80 bin bags. Of course, this does depend on the waste type!
WasteSURE offers a wide range of waste skip sizes from 2 yard skips right through to 40 yard ROROs. We also offer skip bags, grab trucks and wait and load skips as well as a comprehensive community clean up package for residents’ groups around Greater Manchester.
